In this site you'll find an exhaustive list of dojo present all over the country. Please refer to the map below to select the region you are interested.
BIG Opportunity I’m looking for a kohai that could maintain the Aikido In Switzerland web site. He will take over full ownership of all contents and he‘ll be completely free to reshape and update the whole site to a modern responsive layout. Obviously I'll be proud to assist him/her during the transition and still be available after that, while the kohai will become more independent, in true budo spirit. Are you interested? Please go ahead and send your inquiry to the email address at the bottom of this page. I'll be glad to answer all your questions and listen to your propositions.

As they say -- every little bit helps. Please notice that this site is still free of banners, ads, etc., and I'd like to let it so. This is my committment. I would greatly appreciate if you would like to contribute with a (very) SMALL donation. You could donate via PayPal or contact me to enquire for my bank account wire information: Donors will be mentioned (except contrary notice, and for about one year), no listing of the amount. Special thanks to the following folks who have sent in donations during the last twelve months. Your contributions are greatly appeciated: |

anecdote A young boy traveled across Japan to the school of a famous martial artist. When he arrived at the dojo he was given an audience by the Sensei"What do you wish from me?" the master asked. "I wish to be your student and become the finest martial artist in the land," the boy replied. "How long must I study?" "Ten years at least," the master answered. "Ten years is a long time," said the boy. "What if I studied twice as hard as all your other students?" "Twenty years," replied the master. "Twenty years! What if I practice day and night with all my effort?" "Thirty years," was the master's reply. "How is it that each time I say I will work harder, you tell me that it will take longer?" the boy asked. "The answer is clear. When one eye is fixed upon your destination, there is only one eye left with which to find the Way." |
