Prior to ask what aikido is, I suggest to take a look at the wonderful Aikido FAQ assembled and maintained by Kjartan Clausen from Norway. Basic, electronic, and advanced FAQ options offer pointers to texts ranging from "Can Aikido be used for self-defense?" to the philosophy of Mantrayana and Kotodama, wrist strengthening exorcises, and the question seemingly on everyone's mind these days: "Is Steven Seagal really an aikidoka?". Visitors will find pictures, MPEGs, and also en e-index to other aikido sites and newsgroups.

Another reference for the aikido community is designed and maintained by Jun Akiyama. AikiWeb's principal purpose is to serve the Internet community as a repository and dissemination point for aikido information.

At Aikiweb, you also have the opportunity to search for a dojo over the world.

In order to put a direct link to http://www.aikido.ch/ using the special banner that will look and act like this button, simply copy and paste the following text on your page:

<a href="http://www.aikido.ch/">
<img src="http://www.aikido.ch/images/AikidoInSwitzerlandBanner.gif"
alt="Aikido In Switzerland: The Swiss Aikido Web Home Page"
style="border: medium none"
border="0"> </a>

That's it! It is very easy and would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
